This Week

The temperature this week reached mid 30's and some of the snow started to melt. The boys decided it was spring and pulled out their scooters and super hero costumes and rode around without coats feeling the warm 35 degree weather on their face. While the boys were feeling like super heroes this week, I for some reason was feeling like super grouch. For about 3 days I just couldn't kick the grouchiness. I was very aware of my grouchy condition and I came up with my top groucho things of the week list.
1. Mike clocked in 110 hours at work. This does not include the studying while home. Aren't their only 165 hrs in a week?!? Add in for sleep (very little) and that's the whole week.
2.Taking the kids on vacation without Mike, driving in "dangerous winter weather conditions," printing bad map quest directions and getting lost.
3. Mailbox being knocked out of ground while out of town so my mail is not being delivered until it is fixed. I think the ground needs to thaw before that happens.
4. Ariel's ear infection STILL has not cleared up and she on another round of antibiotics.

To be fair and balanced there is a list of Good things that have happened this week:

1.Superheroes
2.Boys outside on scooters

3.Sewing fun legwarmers for Ariel

4.Piggy tails

5. Getting together with friends

6. Successful Young Women's party

Adults need their grouchy days too. Sometimes I wish I could just fall and the floor and throw a full on tantrum. I am glad you survived your week!

Ariel's piggy tails were the first thing I noticed- too cute! Glad you have hobbies and kids to keep you busy while Mike's working away... You two should take off on a vacation sometime;)

I could barely tell it was you sitting there with the young women. You wear your thirty years so well! Sorry about the bad week. 110 house seems beyond ridiculous. The piggy tails are too cute. She looks like a different little girl!

Way to come up with the positive side of things. All of your pictures are so cute. I love your boys and their dressing up, Ariel's darling hair and leg warmers, and your Beehive activity with you looking the same age as all of them! I looked closely to see the cute girl in the red shirt and realized it was you! You fit right in, and your shirt is really cute.

I love coming on here and seeing pictures of your kids. They are just so cute and fun. And, I hear ya on the hours - Brad's been having 100+ hour weeks too and it's pretty rough.

I cannot believe those egg hunt pictures!!!
