As a result of Lucas' head injury on his bike his face has been swelling up. This is Lucas yesterday after church. His forehead and bridge of his nose are swollen. This makes it hard for his eyes to open all this way. In person his profile looks much more flat than normal. Today he is developing two black eyes. Feel lucky he is doing so well though.

Cousin Annee has inspired me to pull out my sewing machine this last week. She sent some darling fabric and said she was waiting for some pictures. I made a skirt and shirt and have not stopped. This is one of the skirts I made Friday. My plan is to make matching ones for the baby.

Ike Man

Earlier in the week (last week if we are counting today as a new week) I went running for a few miles around dusk. Isaac rode his bike along side of me to keep me safe as it started to get dark. He was fun company and most of the time had to wait for me to catch up. I have spent the last several years waiting for him to catch up to me and I quite enjoyed having the tables turned. Watching him ahead of me as I ran I was realizing how much growing he is doing and soon he will not be a little boy at all. Yesterday we went to a friends BBQ. They had a DJ and some dancing in their garage. Isaac and I had a blast dancing together. These photos are quite embarrassing of me, but it was such a good time. I am loving this age and this boy!
