Grandpa Hawkes dropped by for a weekend visit. The weather was in the high 70's to 80's all week. We did a lot of playing outside and put many miles on our bikes. 
We surprised Lucas a visit to school during lunch. Isaac was away with his class on a field trip.

Grandpa and I ran around the lakes in the neighborhhood while we pushed Elsie and Ariel rode her bike. We spent some time trying to feed the ducks but they were not interested.
The canal in downtown Indianapolis is colored green on St Patrick's Day and we decided to go and take a look. It was bright green.
We made green velvet cupcakes to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

A couple of hours after we left the canal downtown, 5 people were shot there, two in bad shape.
