Halloween - The Wizard of Oz

In case you can not tell, we are the characters from Wizard of Oz.

Mike is Lion, Lisa is Dorothy, Isaac is Tinman, Lucas is Scarecrow, Ariel is Glinda and Elsie is a white Toto.

This is a street in our neighborhood.
We ran from home to home to keep warm.

Pumpkin Picking

Right now Ariel and Isaac are outside playing in the snow. Issac is home feeling sick. Proof Tylenol works. Isaac got off the couch and insisted on playing in the snow. We have already had 5 or 6 snowy days this early in October. It then rains, so not much accumulation.

This is the way we picked out our pumpkins this year- out of very large boxes.

It was about 28 degrees outside and strong wind so we did not stay long.

We did enjoy the big blow up slide, hot apple cider and pumpkins donuts.

The kids helped me set the pumpkins out on the front porch. We even added some scary spiderwebs. The snow does not look real cool on the webs though.

Here is sweet Elsie who was left out of all the fun. She is growing quickly. Off the top of chart for length and 75% for weight.

Baby Sling

The boys walking home from school. So cute I had to share.

Katie picked up this baby sling pattern and I made one during conference sessions this weekend. Isaac is gladly modeling it for me.

Getting into the Halloween spirit. FYI Halloween is the second biggest holiday in this country right behind Christmas.
