Milestone

Lucas has an insatiable appetite for sugar and sweets that reminds me a lot of my older brother, Jimmy. Jimmy was known to horde sugar cereal, fruit roll ups, etc. from the rest of his siblings. Unlike Lucas, Isaac likes to save his sweets in a "secret" spot which Lucas gets into on a daily basis and takes what he likes. Isaac is tolerant of the Thief Lord. Well, the other day Lucas chose the best of his preschool Easter loot and gave it to his little sister. This is a VERY big milestone. I know he is crazy about his sister and this is the proof - a strawberry swirl bunny head lollipop.

PS: (for my PS loving cousins) I have a pet peeve against using mixing bowls, Tupperware, serving spoons, wooden spoons (you get the picture) to eat things out of such as cereal and ice cream. None of my boys have issues with that.
PPS: Ariel worked for 3 hours in her crib for that hairdo, if that isn't obvious. We are going for the Einstein look.

A three hour nap?! Or was that three hours during the night? Then she was up looking for lollipops? I love the sweater. I had that in my hands one day and then put it down. I'll never forget it! I should have bought it. She's getting so big. And eating all that candy has definately made for a sweet boy.

Jimmy's sweet tooth has eased up a bit. -His sweet tooth is NOTHIN' compared to mine (unfortunately!)And i actually thought Ariel's do was quite cute! Lucas must be related to James- if it will hold milk, it's good enough for cereal.

I just bought that sweater at Target a couple weeks ago for $1.48 and I was so excited. I can't wait until next spring when I have a little girl who I hope is as cute as Ariel.

OK, I have to comment on the whole mixing bowl, wooden spoon thing. That totally hit home, as you can imagine. My favorite is the cereal eaten out of the stainless cooking pot with a handle. I laughed so hard. After almost 16 years of marriage, it's gotten a lot better ( as I've tried to have plenty of real bowls around), but (bad) habits are often hard to break.

Oh, it's Diane, not Mark--which you I'm sure you figured out.

Lisa! Lisa!
How fun that you found me! Your family is gorgeous! You still look fabulous! Now where are you and why are you there? Are you still doing hair? My sis Lisa told me that she ran in to you at Gap. I am a lame blogger but lets keep in touch!
