Monday night we spend the evening in urgent care having a tick removed from Ariel's leg. Mike met up with us after work.
We spend the first hour waiting outside riding scooters.
The next hour and half riding scooters in the hall and waiting in the room.
It was a small deer tick and we are on the lookout for lyme disease for the next two weeks.

Ticks are scary! My brother got a tick bite 4 years ago and got lyme disease from it. He didn't know enough at the time to be checked by a doctor and so it took years and horrible medical issues later to finally diagnose him with it. I'm glad you're on top of this with Ariel!

that is so gross and scary. but your kids look like they had a good time at the hospital. poor little ariel. did it leave a wound? how did she do as a patient?
Scary! She's so little! I guess ticks just come with the territory in Wisconsin, though. I love the pic of Lucas and Mike inspecting the removed beast! Funny!
