I have a friend who use to be a serious jewelry designer in southern Florida. She gave that up a moved back home to a very SLOW paced life here in Wisconsin and has taken up gardening and bread making for a living instead. She is insanely talented at everything she does. Anyway, we trade haircuts for jewelry and this is my collection so far. She uses semi- precious stones and wiring. The stones below are amethyst, blue kyanite and tiger's eye. There is something exciting about getting new great jewelry.

Looks like neat stuff! You should tell her to open a shop on Etsy.
I wish we were coming to see you all this summer! We won't be headed up to family camp this year because Josh will be fishing in Canada that week. I am usually jazzed to have a week alone at home, but I am dreading it this time. Baby #2 is on the way and I am WAY bogged down with morning sickness! I thought of you when I went in and out of HyVee yesterday! :) Come visit soon!
I L-O-V-E trading stuff for Haircuts!!
