Wisconsin Winter

Lucas' pink gloves are the same ones I wore skiing almost 25 years ago. These are the warmest gloves I have ever owned. I therefore have no shame in having my three year old boy wear them. It is almost becoming a right of passage to wear these gloves as you learn to snowboard. I do not think the thought has occured to either of my boys that it is taboo to wear hot pink gloves

So is Lucas going to be a snowboarder? Was it fun for him? It looks like lots of fun. Fancy snow suits on the boys! They look like they are the ski patrol.

Yes, I was wondering if the boys are training for the Olympics in their hot spider snow suits? They look official! (Besides the pink gloves. You'd better find another sponsor)Wes kept saying, that looks pink.

Happy Birthday to Ariel yesterday. We thought of her all day, Big 1 year old!

You make snowboarding with young kids look like a breeze and fashionable too. I always have some mismatched outfit with a crazy hat I find laying around my parents house.

Are you a snowboarder?? I always knew you were cool, Lisa, but just didn't know how cool. I love it. Your kids are gorgeous.

And yes, I do love Obama. But I know that you think I probably deserve to break my foot for supporting him. That's OK. I still love your beautiful, Republican self. I would LOVE to get together with you and Mike again and just discuss politics--as long as you don't have scissors in your hands.

I love how you are teaching your kids young. We are going to start with Owen next year when we get back to Utah.

love these pictures - isaac looks awesome out there! man, get me to a mountain (alright, i'd rather sit in the lodge drinking hot chocolate - the snow is just so, well, cold)!

Wow, Mike has quite the moves there. Suave. Isaac looks like he picked it up quickly. Good thing Lucas has Lisa's lucky gloves - he'll win a trophy for sure.

You still have TWO gloves from 20 years ago? That's as impressive as the kid wearing them! Super fun. However, I look at these pix and just think of how much I hAtE being cold!
Let's play in the snow in February though!!! (you willing to ski so we can stay close?!)
