This week I was able to spend a few days helping out in Isaac's and Lucas' classrooms. They attend school with some great kids so that makes it a lot of fun. I am decorating Lucas' teacher's bulletin boards. This is the one in the main hall. As kids read a book, they will write the name of the book, author and their name on a leaf and those will be the leaves that are falling.
For another bulletin board, I am putting together all his classmates' photos. I took this one of Luke. He loves me helping out, which makes it that much more fun.I was playing football outside with these rascals yesterday and broke the little finger on my left hand. It is making things rather difficult because I am left handed. Diaper changing and fastening car seats is especially hard. I'm kinda bummed that I broke a bone. It is my first.

Love the creative bulletine board -sorry 'bout the finger mishap! Is it just buddied to your ring finer for a few weeks now?
It's hard when life tells you you aren't as young as you think you are. I hope the finger gets better quickly. I've never broken a bone either!
The bulletin board looks outstanding. I'm sure that means a lot to Lucas! Way to go.
What a beautiful bulletin board, and what an ugly finger. That is Mother of the Year stuff. Imagine being a semi-pro snowboarder and never breaking a bone. You should be proud that you earned it on the football field. I'm sure the boys are impressed you sacrificed your body to score in football. Well worth breaking your unbroken bone record to achieve.
I can't believe you broke your finger! It was obviously after you made that amazing bulletin board, I am assuming. Although, if anyone could pull that off it would be you. My boys definitely are proud that it their aunt breaks a bone for the first time it was playing football!
I broke my pinkie finger playing football back in 1991 or 92, except it was my right hand. I was catching a ball thrown by my adult male neighbor and he denied for years that it was really broken. It is still crooked today! I love all your pictures, your kids look like models! I'm kind of appalled that you made a cake with 9 sticks of butter, but glad that it wasn't good so that you won't try that heartattack recipe again! Just kidding (kind of). Okay, I'm going to go return your phone call now. Talk to you soon!
Ouch! Heal quickly.
they keep growing -- make them stop!!
