As a result of Lucas' head injury on his bike his face has been swelling up. This is Lucas yesterday after church. His forehead and bridge of his nose are swollen. This makes it hard for his eyes to open all this way. In person his profile looks much more flat than normal. Today he is developing two black eyes. Feel lucky he is doing so well though.
Cousin Annee has inspired me to pull out my sewing machine this last week. She sent some darling fabric and said she was waiting for some pictures. I made a skirt and shirt and have not stopped. This is one of the skirts I made Friday. My plan is to make matching ones for the baby.

Super cute skirt!!! Feel free to make matching ones for cousins Lizzy and anna, too;) I've admired several of Annee's creations.
I'm so glad you've caught the bug. This skirt is even cuter than the first one you did. They get easier the more you make. I love it. Sorry about all the recent injuries.
Poor guy. He looks nothing like himself. I'm happy to hear he's doing better. And the skirt is darling. You're inspiring me to want to make a few things too.
It breaks my heart to see his face so swollen, even if he is on the mend. But as you say, it could have been much worse. Wasn't Isaac this age when the door fell on his face and broke his nose? I keep praying for their safety.
Your kids are adorable even with the head wounds. I hope your boys decide to wear their helmets from now on!!!
Whoa. That doesn't even look like Lucas.
I love Ariel's skirt. While Mike sews up the kids you sew up outfits for the kids. I guess that works.
I am happy to finally hear what this new baby is going to be! I keep checking to find out if you are having a boy or girl and unless I missed a previous announcement, this is the first I have heard about it. So sorry to see all the ER visits for the boys. Thank goodness they are always in good hands!
