You know you are in Wisconsin when...

For a project in Isaac's first grade class they were to create a hat without using a hat. The more creative or bizarre the better. Isaac and I got a basket, turned it upside down and hot glued a plastic burger, with fries and a soda. When Isaac walked into class that morning the first kid we see says nonchalantly "Cool hamburger and Beer, Isaac!" I was shocked. Not for one second did the thought ever enter my mind that our soda would be thought of as a beer. But I do think we live in the beer capital of the country so why I am still shocked that kids can join their parents at the bar for a few cold ones.
