Lucas' Green Shirts

The last couple of months Lucas has become OBSESSED with green shirts. He wants to wear green shirts and underwear only. Everytime I turn around he has taken off his pants and is standing there in a green shirt and unders. I tried telling him they were all dirty and in the wash (which was true) and he helped himself to my green shirts. My shirts fit him like a dress. He didn't mind this a bit- but would ask if his green shirts were dry. I don't want to encourage this green obsession, but to make things a little easier I have kept an eye out for green boy shirts. We were even given a few green hand-me-downs when Annee heard of my predicament. He doesn't like his shirt dirty and he has become creative in fixing this problem. The green shirt can be backwards or inside out and he doesn't mind. This whole green shirt thing is funny but it can be somewhat annoying at times.

My favorite was when he wore your green shirt for like, 2 days- didn't bother him! With the obsessions with GREEN and a love of diego, he and James must be related...

Mason is obsessed with "surf" T-shirts (like Quicksilver, etc.) and because he only has 3 he is constantly digging them out of the dirty clothes basket and trying to wear them. Maybe I will have to post about Mason's clothes obsessions, it goes beyond the T-shirts, and is a little otu of control! Our boys would probably be great friends.

Yes, Megan I would be interested in hearing about Masons.

When Matt was younger, right after Joe and I got married, he only would wear Lion King shirts. We must have had 20 with different combinations of Simba and his friends on them. I thought I would put my foot down on him wearing one for his school picture that year, and then thought better of it. After all, it was exactly him that year. Twelve years later, looking at those pictures always makes me smile.
