My friend Cori sent this email that has me in belly laughs. My boys call doing these types of things "experiments". Somehow being called an experiment makes it appropriate behavior.
You find out interesting things when you have sons, like ...
1.) A king size water bed holds enough water to fill a 2000 sq. ft. house 4 inches deep.
2.) If you spray hair spray on dust bunnies and run over them with roller blades, they can ignite.
3.) A 3-year old boy's voice is louder than 200 adults in a crowded restaurant.
4.) If you hook a dog leash over a ceiling fan, the motor is not strong enough to rotate a 42 pound boy wearing Batman underwear and a Superman cape. It is strong enough, however, if
tied to a paint can, to spread paint on all four walls of a 20x20 ft. room.
5.) You should not throw baseballs up when the ceiling fan is on. When using a ceiling fan as a bat, you have to throw the ball up a few times before you get a hit. A ceiling fan can hit a baseball a long way.
6.) The glass in windows (even double-pane) doesn't stop a baseball hit by a ceiling fan.
7.) When you hear the toilet flush and the words "uh oh", it's already too late.
8.) Brake fluid mixed with Clorox makes smoke, and lots of it.
9.) A six-year old boy can start a fire with a flint rock even though a 36-year old man says they can only do it in the movies.
10.) Certain Lego's will pass through the digestive tract of a 4-year old boy.
11.) Play dough and microwave should not be used in the same sentence.
12.) Super glue is forever.
13.) No matter how much Jell-O you put in a swimming pool, you still can't walk on water.
14.) Pool filters do not like Jell-O.
15.) VCR's do not eject "PB & J" sandwiches even though TV commercials show they do.
16.) Garbage bags do not make good parachutes.
17.) Marbles in gas tanks make lots of noise when driving.
18.) You probably DO NOT want to know what that odor is.
19.) Always look in the oven before you turn it on; plastic toys do not like ovens.
20.) The fire department in Austin, TX has a 5-minute response time.
21.) The spin cycle on the washing machine does not make earthworms dizzy.
22.) It will, however, make cats dizzy.
23.) Cats throw up twice their body weight when dizzy.
24.) 80% of men who read this will try mixing the Clorox and brake fluid.

Everyone in our family has now been tagged except sweet little Ariel. I am sure her turn is coming up so I am including her 6 list with the rest of the family.
Ariel likes:
1.Mom
2.Dad
3.breast milk
4.Isaac and Lucas
5.cheese (what do you expect-she was born in Wisconsin.)
6.baby dolls and dogs
Isaac:
1.I like to go to school
2.I like playing with friends
3.I like to watch movies
4.I like reading books
5.Likes reading and memorizing the Articles of Faith in the scriptures
6.I like making projects and experiments
Lucas:
1.preschool
2.music class (Lucas says "preschool and music class" with such pride. Proof he is big like Isaac.)
3.friends
4.Boots, Dorothy, Glinda, Diego "What about Dora, Lucas?" "Kate likes Dora." he says.
5.baking stuff with mom
6.maraschino cherries
MIKE:
1. I try every night to go to bed early and rarely am successful. When I do, I think it will help me get up early and get more done. I usually end up sleeping just as long.
2. I am the most unorganized, organized person I know. I can't stand not being organized, and am always trying to be organized. You would think I do not have a clue on how to be organized. Always working on it.
3. I hate being late to meetings, especially church- but am usually running late. The clocks in our house, car, my pager are all set ahead, but again this is a challenge. Are you seeing a pattern here? (look at #1 & 2 above)
4. I have the best family. I am always amazed at how blessed I have been.
5. I love reading the news. Fascinated by what is going on in the world.
6. I carry a grudge around that my inventions always get patented by others. Pump sneakers- my idea, tablet notebook- elementary school.

I have been tagged by my friend Mandy.
The rules:
A. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.
B. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog, for these rules.
Here are my 6:
1. I LOVE making and creating. The past decade I have realized how much I need a creative outlet. It can be dinner, a sewing project, dinner, painting, gardening. I love the process of planning, implementing, and the satisfaction of a finished result.
2. I enjoy people.
3. I rub my nose. I am usually unaware that I do and hate to catch myself doing it. I think there is a genetic component. I see my sisters do it sometimes too.
4. I eat WAY too much chocolate. I like it in all forms- hot chocolate, brownies, candies, cake, cookies, chocolate syrup, etc.
5. A steaming hot shower always sounds good to me.
6. I like being on the move. For as long as I can remember I have loved going places and doing things.
There you go. Oh, what fun.
The six people I tag are.......
Katie, Laura, Megan, Angie, Cori, Mom, and Annee. I look forward to hearing a little more about you.
